We are currently in the Teledyne Reynolds Group that includes Teledyne PCT and Teledyne Microelectronic Technologies.

Teledyne EMS builds and tests electronic circuit cards (CCAs) and systems. We do build-to-print work for other companies and generally do not build our own products. Most of the products that we build are high-reliability, J-STD-001 Class 3 and Space (NASA and CS) products. We build everything from SMT CCA, plated thru hole (PTH) CCAs, microelectronic hybrid assemblies to sub-systems that are shipped completely tested for customer installation into aircraft, missiles, or other equipment. Most work at Teledyne EMS is low-volume/high-mix with volumes from one-time builds of 10 units to monthly shipments of 250 units or more.
Teledyne EMS provides a complete range of testing services for the products that we build.
Teledyne EMS is currently placing SMT components from 0201 chips up to large area array packages with ceramic packages. Our 4 SMT lines have 100% Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) both before and after reflow, inert atmosphere reflow, as well as automated and manual X-ray inspection. We also have robust processes and equipment for wave soldering, selective soldering, heat sink bonding, box build, and conformal coating. Capabilities for die attach, flip chip, gold ball bonding, etc are currently in development.
Teledyne EMS is certified to AS9100 Rev C and Nadcap AC7120 (Electronics).
